

This is what we call the "Post Office" ruin. It really was a post office before it burned down. The first time we discovered this ruin there was still a red coat hanger hanging on the wall. We left it there, because we believe in leaving a place exactly as we found it. When we got there again, it was gone. O well, maybe we should have taken it. The New England post office ruin is near the town of Barkly East. This particular day I fell through the rotten floorboards. I scratched my leg very bad that day. We do take care on photoshoots in "less than safe" places, but sometimes things happen!
